DigiDocs

Built for the Field. Paperless inspections that hold up in an audit.

DigiDocs digitizes the paperwork crane, construction, trucking, and heavy-equipment crews do every single day — daily equipment inspections, CDL pre-trip reports, lift plans, personnel basket plans, JSAs, and bills of lading. 32 OSHA and FMCSA-compliant templates, automatic deficiency tracking, photo documentation, PDF exports, and multi-branch support, with native app wrappers for iOS, Android, and all major browsers.

Features

32 Inspection Templates

OSHA and FMCSA-compliant templates for mobile, crawler, rough-terrain, overhead, and both hammerhead and luffing jib tower cranes, aerial lifts, forklifts, CDL trucks, concrete pumps, man lifts, personnel baskets, and more. Daily, monthly, and annual intervals.

Operability Determination

Flagged items trigger an Operable/Non-Operable assessment per OSHA 1926.1417. The operator signs digitally on every inspection, and the decision is captured on the final report.

Photo Documentation

Capture and attach photos to any inspection item. Thumbnails display inline beneath each field in the pre-submit review and in the final PDF report, giving mechanics and supervisors exactly what the operator saw.

Deficiency & Repair Workflow

Failed items become trackable deficiency records tagged Standard, Critical, or Safety. Mechanics see an Open state with a Start Repair button; repair fields for notes, parts, and labor hours appear only once work is in progress. The next inspection surfaces an inline banner if a prior deficiency is still unresolved.

Multi-Branch Support

Isolate equipment, users, inspections, deficiencies, reports, and exports by physical branch. Assign equipment and users to one or more locations, switch active branches from the header, and reporting stays scoped to what that crew should see. Up to 5 branches on Enterprise, unlimited on Enterprise Plus.

Project Scoping

Tag operators and supervisors to specific projects so equipment lists and inspection feeds stay focused on what's on their job site — while shared rigging and yard equipment remains globally visible. Mechanics are exempt; the CDL trailer picker bypasses scoping. A Company Admin manages projects under Fleet → Projects.

Lift & Basket Plans

Crane lift planning with load calculations, rigging, % of chart capacity, critical lift detection, excavation hazards, line pull, and approval workflow. OSHA 1926.1431-compliant personnel basket plans with 50% derating, trial lift verification, and safety manager approval.

CDL Pre-Trip & BOL

DVIR-ready pre-trip and post-trip inspections for tractors, trailers, and straight trucks per FMCSA 396.11. Digital bills of lading with shipper/consignee, freight items, hazmat tracking, and e-signatures.

5 User Roles

Superadmin, Admin, Supervisor, Mechanic, and Operator — each with a tailored sidebar and capabilities. Supervisors and admins can be scoped to all branches or a subset; mechanics see deficiencies and log repairs.

PDF & Data Export

Download individual inspection, JSA, or lift plan PDFs, or bulk export as ZIP. Full data export (PDF + CSV or JSON) with date range and active-branch filtering, organized by equipment and project.

Reports & Analytics

Fleet-wide dashboard with subscription banner and setup progress. Inspections by month, equipment utilization, deficiency trends, repair summary with average repair time, and most-common deficiencies.

Audit Logging

Every create, update, and delete is recorded with user, timestamp, and details. Company-scoped data isolation on every API route, role-based access control, and Stripe webhook signature verification.

iOS, Android & Web

Works everywhere your crew does. Native iOS and Android apps (wrapped with Capacitor) plus a progressive web app that installs on any Chromium browser, Safari on iOS and macOS, and Firefox Android. Service-worker offline fallback for lost-signal moments.

Compliance Coverage

Every template is mapped to the standard your inspectors are checking against.

OSHA 1926.1412

Mobile, rough-terrain, and tower crane pre-operation, monthly, and annual inspections. Shift, monthly, and annual frequency badges are surfaced on every template.

OSHA 1926.1431

Personnel basket plans with 50% derating, trial lift verification, crew signatures, and safety manager approval workflow.

OSHA 1926.1417

Operability determination on flagged items. The operator explicitly marks equipment Operable or Non-Operable before the report is submitted.

FMCSA 396.11

DVIR-ready CDL pre-trip and post-trip inspections for tractors, trailers, and straight trucks.

ASME B30.2 / B30.5 / B30.9

Overhead and gantry cranes, crawler and lattice-boom cranes, and rigging & lifting gear — each with a dedicated template.

ANSI A92 & OSHA 1910.178

Aerial lift periodic inspections (ANSI A92) and forklift pre-operation and periodic inspections (OSHA 1910.178).

How It Works

From signup to paperless crews in a single afternoon.

1

Create Your Company

Register at digidocs.app, pick your industry (crane ops, trucking, excavation, concrete, or general), and DigiDocs shows only the forms that apply to your trade.

2

Add Equipment & Users

Add each piece of equipment with meter fields and the lock-in template it should use. Invite operators, supervisors, mechanics, and admins by email — each with the right sidebar and capabilities for their role.

3

(Optional) Set Up Branches

On Enterprise and Enterprise Plus, create branches for each physical location. Assign equipment and users to one or more branches and use the header switcher to scope every view.

4

Start Inspecting

Operators open the inspection on their phone, work through Pass/Fail/N/A items, attach photos, and sign digitally. Failed items are auto-captured as trackable deficiencies with the operator's notes and photos attached.

5

Close the Loop

Mechanics hit Start Repair, log notes, parts, and labor hours, and mark the repair complete. On the next inspection, operators see a banner on any field that had a prior deficiency showing repair or unresolved status.

6

Export for Audits

Download PDFs for a single record or bulk export the whole pay period as a ZIP. Use data export for JSON or CSV, filtered by date range, equipment, project, or active branch — everything a regulator or customer might ask for.

Tech Stack

Next.js 16 & TypeScript

App Router architecture with TypeScript throughout. Server components, API routes, and middleware for route protection and subscription enforcement.

Prisma & PostgreSQL

Prisma ORM with PostgreSQL in production (SQLite in dev). Typed queries, migrations, and company-scoped data isolation on every API route.

Stripe Billing

Stripe Checkout, Customer Portal, and webhook handling for all four tiers with monthly and yearly pricing. 14-day free trial enforcement on Professional.

NextAuth.js & reCAPTCHA

JWT-based authentication with bcrypt (12 rounds). Google reCAPTCHA v3 on login, v2 on registration and password reset. Operator signature required on every inspection.

Capacitor Native Wrappers

iOS and Android app shells built with Capacitor over the same Next.js codebase — one platform to maintain, three places to ship.

PWA & Offline

Installable on Chromium browsers, iOS Safari, macOS Safari 17+, and Firefox Android. Service worker precaches static assets and ships an offline fallback page for lost-signal moments.
